Endless joints
An endless joint is where you splice the belting over six or seven pitches and then join the belts using rivets. Using an endless joint increases the surface area of the joint, therefore allowing the strain to be spread over a much larger portion of the belt. Added advantages of using endless joints are a lack of wearing parts for ultimate durability, and an incredibly low profile for a tough, smooth finish.
